Beware the Bots

Computers as novelists? Check out this post on the WritersWrite blog.

I like to joke sometimes that I'm a machine, but geez.

At a conference I went to maybe 2 years ago now, I went to a lecture on computer generated poetry. As a test they asked audience members for key phrases, and the computer used them as a basis for poems. It was able to mimic the styles of different poets like Whitman, Shelley, Keats, etc. Kind of creepy. I'll have to see if I still have my notes, because they had a website.

Hebdomeros,

Man, that is creepy. I do like to think that us humans have things like intuition, creativity, dreams, and moments of grave illogic, going for us. I guess AI has always been a bit disturbing though... like getting beaten by the machine at chess.

I skim a lot of blogs, and so far yours is in the Top 3 of my list of favorites. I'm going to dive in and try my hand at it, so wish me luck.

It'll be in a totally different area than yours (mine is about scrapbooking quote) I know, it sounds strange, but it's like anything, once you learn more about it, it's pretty cool. It's mostly about scrapbooking quote related articles and subjects.

Hello fellow fisherman,

Did you know that 16% of the U.S. population goes fishing at least 16 days a year?

Did you also know that over 75% of the nations fishermen do not fish during "prime time"; fish feeding hours?

Those precious few moments before twilight can be absolutely magical. Even up until 11pm at night, the largest predators of any species feed ravenously.

Don't believe me? Check out Daniel Eggertsen's story, and a picture of a couple of his catches here : "Evening Secrets plus more"

I want you to do me a favor and try it out so I can see what you think of it, and if it works for you as well as it did for me.

You will be one of the first to try it out.

Gone Fishin',

Neil

Interested in Cooking? Need a new recipe for Thanksgiving or an unusual present for Christmas for the cook that has it all? Let me tell you about a cookbook that is older than you and me together, but still has more value that most cookbooks that are out on the marke these days. It is called America Cookery. It is the first cookbook of American authorship to be printed in the United States. Numerous recipes that adapt traditional dishes by substituting native American ingredients such as corn meal and squash are printed here for the first time, including "Indian Slapjack," "Johny Cake," and "Squash Pudding." Simmons's "Pompkin Pudding," baked in a crust, is the basis for the classic American pumpkin pie. It is awesome. I bought it and y family and friends loved and envied the sudden knowledge that I displayed and the tasty treats that I was able to make with this treasure. Thank you to the person who made it available for immediate download. Happy holidays from Selina and family.

Hi all,
In talking about home based business opportunity, what could be better than a 100% automated system that could allow netters to fold their arms while it tirelessly hunts for prospects.

I happened to pass by, but your home based business opportunity related contributins truly captured my eye. I happen to have been frustrated and been bled to my last penny by sweet talkers, into buying useless onlines opporunities.

Only after 4 years did I stumble on something that has truly changed my life. Things can nver realy be this easier ...no emailling, no calls, no prospecting or closing your sales because a real millennium software does literally everything for you! The prosperity automated system is in aclass of its own.

I would recommend it for anyone who needs a regular side income but hating MLM's or chain letters or anything like that. The PAS team does all the work and you get the dime. This is my idea of the 21st century business..http://www.MegaWealthy.com/224

Many thnks
